The MAGIC STRIKER® is a generous sized ferrocerrium rod housed in a robust handle. The actual striking surface of the rod is 2 1/2" long by 3/8" wide...heavy enough to provide thousands of lights. A metal bladed striking tool is attached to the MAGIC STRIKER® by a lanyard, reducing the chance of losing one of the components.

Using sparks which generate up to 3000° F, the MAGIC STRIKER® lights anything from paper, dry grass, birch bark to small wood shavings. Whether the MAGIC STRIKER® is wet or dry it will provide Up to 20,000 ignitions.
