This day course is designed to prepare you to handle life threatening emergencies. Topics covered include:

• Emergency Scene Management

• Recognition, prevention, and treatment of shock

• Interventions for foreign body airway obstruction

• Care of severely bleeding casualties

• Wound care

• Amputations

• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Common medical emergencies

A combination of hands-on practical sessions, films, and lectures quickly develops confidence and skill, resulting in a nationally recognized certificate.  The certificate is valid for three years.
