Ballistic Injury Care

This two day course covers Emergency First Aid and then builds upon that base to develop your skills in further casualty care as pertaining to Ballistic wound management. Designed for the hunter, Law Enforcement Officer, and the shooting enthusiast, the major focus will be on firearms related trauma.

  • Care of severely bleeding casualties

  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Advanced Body Survey techniques

  • Internal and External Ballistics

  • Eye Injuries

  • Chest Injuries

  • Abdominal Injuries

  • Ongoing casualty care

A combination of hands-on practical sessions, films, and lectures will quickly develop your confidence and skill, allowing you to handle ballistic related injuries in an efficient manner.  A certificate in Emergency First Aid and a Ballistic Injuries endorsement will be issued upon completion.
